Hello to all you movie and book lovers!!!!

Hello everybody! I am so excited about this blog and I know it will be packed full very soon because I love reading books and watching movies. So, here is my very first book review!

The Last Song
Written By: Nicholas Sparks
This novel by Nicholas Sparks is about a bitter teenager named Ronnie(Veronica), sent to live with her father for the summer in a small southern beach town. Ronnie is angry with her father because he left her, her mother and little brother Jonah three years ago. Her father Steve, an ex-concert pianist, has nothing but love for his children, and knows that Ronnie will not be happy with him for a while. He hopes to reconcile with Ronnie over the summer, due to reasons that become clear later in the book. Ronnie meets a young man named Will, who changes her life for the better over that summer that they have together. It's a classic love story, but I wish just one of Nicholas Sparks' books would leave me with a dry eye! For those of you who know me, you know that I love all books, and that I've never had a favorite. But after reading this book several times in one week, I have decided that it is in fact, my favorite book. The love that this book portrays is seemingly innocent , but once you get underneath the surface, it's so much more than that. It is very real. And not just the love between Ronnie and Will, but the love between her and her father. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody over the age of 13 as their are some slightly inappropriate scenes and some mild language used. But this is definitely my favorite book. The movie version, starring Miley Cyrus as Ronnie, Liam Hemsworth as Will, and Greg Kinnear as Steve will be coming to theaters on March 31st! I am so excited for this and have watched the trailer for it several times. Please read this book and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.
